Josiah’s new business During Lockdown

At team M.Y. we really want to congratulate Josiah on taking his care business to a new level. Josiah has been part of M.Y. for a few years now and is one of our top players. Some time ago Josiah decided to expand into the care sector and set up his company, (Brighter Living). Brighter Living is a provider of supported living for vulnerable people operating in Reading. Being heavily linked with council and government, this business model has proven itself to be more recession-proof then his rent to rent business he still actively runs. For many of us, the lockdown has not been the easiest time and for Josiah, he has certainly not been exempt. Many challenges have come Josiah’s way, including losing multiple members of staff and dealing with a lot of empty rooms in his rent to rent business, but this really hasn’t stopped him. He has managed to overcome these obstacles and turn things around. Care and supported living is a heavily regulated industry with plenty of formalities and project management to deal with daily. This field is certainly not easy so well done Josiah. It is always worth remembering that even during these times there are still plenty of opportunities to take advantage of. One of the best ways to keep motivated is by going to networking events either online or face to face. Surround yourself with people who are not giving up even during times like this.
