Millionaire Young property investment advice case study
Through word of mouth, Romario heard about Millionaire Young and decided to book a one to one meeting with Ayo Gordon, to discuss his goals and get more of an understanding of the property investment game. Feeling motivated and inspired, Romario and Kelly decided to become part of the M.Y. community and begin their journey.
After finishing school and not being sure what he wanted to do in life, Romario decided to enroll into a two-year plumbing course at Nescot College in Epson. Although he learnt a lot of valuable skills during this course, he soon came to the realisation that pursuing a career in plumbing was not really what he wanted to do. Romario’s true dream was to become a professional boxer, but finding the balance between earning an income and training to fulfil his boxing dream was difficult. Still struggling to find the right career path, he decided to take a job at Homebase before moving on to the Royal Mail in South London, where he worked as a postman for more than two years.
Frustrated with the early morning shifts in the freezing cold, Romario finally decided that he had had enough of the nine to five life and wanted to make a change. He was determined to find a way, a way in which he could earn money passively to free up time for his passions. With his partner Kelly, also unsatisfied with the daily grind of her office job, they both began searching for any opportunities to earn passive income.
Through word of mouth, Romario heard about M.Y. and decided to book a one to one meeting with Ayo, to discuss his goals and get more of an understanding of the property game. Feeling motivated and inspired, Romario and Kelly decided to become part of the M.Y. community and begin their journey.
The pair joined M.Y. in 2017 and built up a portfolio of fifteen rent to rent properties over fifteen months. These properties generated a healthy cash flow and allowed them both to quit their jobs and become financially free. Since then, Romario and Kelly have purchased and moved into their first three bed house in London. Romario has also joined the M.Y. Mastermind programme and has purchased a buy to let property, which he is currently refurbishing so that he can refinance and rent out.
Romario and Kelly both say that it was their sheer determination and hard work, paired with the support of M.Y. that helped them to achieve their success so young (24 and 22!). The pair have big plans to continue buying more property and following their dreams. The best news, is that they are now expecting a baby ☺. Congratulations and well done Romario and Kelly, you both are awesome!
