Prince Gibbons grew up in South London and after leaving school, he spent most of his time around the wrong people, in and out of trouble and uncertain of his future. He knew that he wanted to make money and be successful, but like many young people, he did not know what the best path for him was. After a few tumultuous years, and five children later, Prince knew it was time to get serious, become responsible, and pave the way for a better future. His biggest fear was that he was not going to be able to support his children, send them to good schools and give them a happy environment to thrive in. Prince was adamant that he did not want the struggle that he had always seen around him.
Prince initially approached Ayo with an interest to get involved in 2017, but he still had doubts and was not too sure if the time was right for him. After seeing the success of his close friend, who had joined M.Y. previously, Prince eventually decided to take the leap and sign up in early 2019. He knew that it was time to seriously decide where he wanted to be and what he wanted to be doing with his future. Prince was hesitant at the start, with thoughts that the property game may not be for him and that he would not be accepted due to his past and the judgement that often comes with having tattoos. This reluctance was quickly turned to confidence as Prince steadily built up his rent to rent portfolio, securing four deals in his first five months. During this time, Prince learnt that with the right tools and the right people around him, he can achieve anything. After building up nine rent to rent properties, he decided to join the M.Y. Mastermind programme and focus on building a portfolio of properties to own. Prince has wasted no time in getting started and is already buying his first freehold property in London. He can proudly say that he now believes in himself and the future he is building for his family. Well done Prince, we are proud of your transition and success!
